Summary

	The Tionese War was a galactic war between both the Galactic Republic and Hutt Empire Hutt Empire Organization Planetary and Sector against the Tion Cluster from 24,000 until around 23,900 BBY. The Tion Cluster had become a largely-disunited backwater in the thousand years that had followed the defeat Third Battle of Vontor (25100BBY) Event Pre-Republic Era (before 25000BBY) of Xim's empire Xim's Empire Organization Planetary and Sector , and the Cluster's leaders saw a rapid conquest of the Republic and the acquisition of its technology as their salvation. The Tionese attacked the Republic without warning, and despite - or because of - the Tionese's lack of resources, the Republic found them a dangerous foe. In response, Republic spies quietly stirred up trouble between the Tion Cluster and their old enemies, the Hutt Empire. Facing a war on two fronts, the Tionese submitted to the Republic.
